What are they?
Dermal fillers are injectables that may be used for facial different areas to smooth wrinkles, restore volume, enhance volume, shape facial contours, and rehydrate the skin.
As you age, your skin undergoes a number of predictable changes affecting the texture, volume and appearance.
The process of natural aging is caused by combination of 3 factors:
- Skin Dehydration leading to a decrease in skin quality through loss of elasticity, tone and radiance
- Loss of facial fat resulting in sagging of the skin and volume loss, which contributes to the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
- Change in bony structure and loss of muscle tissue, resulting in volume loss, which contributes to changing in facial contours.
Dermal fillers can:
Enhance facial volume and restore facial features that may have weakened overtime.
Remove or soften lines and wrinkles
Rehydrate to improve the skins firmness, tone and elasticity and preventions of wrinkles.
Restore fullness and hydration to the lips
Add shape and soft volume to naturally thinner lips
Correct asymmetries and restore balance
Soften lines and wrinkles around the lips

How long do fillers last?
Depending on the product, the fillers may last from 6-24 months. Duration also depends on other factors such as the type of treatment, skin condition, lifestyle and age.
Does it hurt?
There is a slight sting, however, we can offer some different numbing options such as local anaesthetic for the upper lip (about a ¼ compared to the dentist so it wears off a lot quicker in comparison), anaesthetic numbing cream and ice.
Post-treatment there may be some redness and swelling. These will start to go down after the treatment, but may take a few days to fully subside. Bruising is always a risk, ask your practitioner how to minimise the risks. Cannulas can be used to place deeper fillers without the risk of puncturing blood vessels.
How much will it cost?
Every face is unique and so we must treat each person uniquely for the best possible results. Different amounts of product and different products are required for each person, and so price will always vary. In your initial consultation, we evaluate what is needed to achieve your desired results and can then give you a more specific quote.
Will I notice the difference right away?
Yes, best results can be assessed after 3 or 4 days and sometimes optimal results are only achieved with repeat treatments.
Variety of products
We offer a variety of products to suit different skin types, areas being treated and the desired outcomes. Some of the products we offer include: Belotero, Restylane, Emervel, Sculptra, Juvederm and Teosyal.
Redensity [I] - teosyal Beauty booster
Beauty Booster Redensity [I] could be referred to as an injectable moisturiser. It has high concentration of natural and free hyaluronic acid and a combination of antioxidants, amino acids, minerals and vitamins, all of which are naturally present in our skin. It can smooth out wrinkles and restore volume as well as help improve skin glow, elasticity, texture and hydration.
With age, we can lose up to 2/3 of our hyaluronic acid pool. As it gets thinner, the skin becomes morefragile, dehydrates and it's elasticity diminishes. The hyaluronic acid injections compensate the natural loss of this substance and stimulate the auto-production of collagen to help smooth out wrinkles, restore volume and improve skin glow, elasticity, texture and hydration.
For optimum results, we recommend 3 sessions at 3 week intervals.
